It's official Chad Henne is out for the season !

It’s now official according to NFL.com reporter Jeff Ireland; Chad Henne will miss the remainder of the NFL season to have shoulder surgey.

Just like Chad Pennington, at the hand of the San Diego Chargers defense Chad Henne has suffered a season ending injury. Henne’s last game as a Dolphins starting QB like Pennington might have been against the Chargers.

The Dolphins have already started their search for a backup but have come up short so far.

I defiantly feel for Chad who tried to battle back this year and make a name for himself. This will be tough on Chad as he tried very hard this offseason to build his leadership skills and prove the haters wrong. With this injury, the Dolphins probably move at the top of the list for the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

Henne out for the year?? What Should Miami Do ??

Written by Daniel Eliesen on .

There are reports going around Dolphins nation that Chad Henne might be out for the season after hearing that he might require surgery for his shoulder.Things certainly have not gone as planned down in South Florida and now you can add Chad Henne’s injury to the list.

Whether it’s the entire season or just a long period of time, it certainly seems like Henne will be out a decent amount of time.

For those of you on the #SuckForLuck bus this is potentially very solid news for you as surely you can’t think that Matt Moore is going to rise this Dolphins team from the dead. Matt Moore also already led one team to the first overall pick before.

With this new injury to Henne, apparently the Dolphins are already searching for a vet QB to come in and maybe change things up. Apparently the Dolphins pursued Jake Delhomme who had no interest in joining Miami, as well as David Garrard who wasn’t interested due to the money he was offered.

garrard

ESPN's Adam Schefter says David Garrard was ready to sign with the Dolphins for $1 million. But MIA wouldn't budge off the vet's minimum.

A lot of people are speculating the Dolphins might revisit the Garrard option if Henne is out for the season.

I am pleading the Dolphins organization please do not sign another stop gap QB. Quick fixes have got Miami nowhere. We have been looking for a QB for 12 years; this year needs to be played out. An older veteran is not the solution.

So should we really Suck 4 Luck ??

Written by Daniel Eliesen on .

Week 4 is officially over and the Dolphins are about to into their bye week 0-4. Not much reason for confidence in South Florida and the Suck 4 Luck talk is starting to get very loud.

luck

If you’re a not of #Suck4Luck well then you can go with #Lose4Landry or #Breakdown4Barkley!

Not many thought we would be here at the beginning of the season but the Dolphins are a legit player in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. The Dolphins sit at 0-4 along with the Colts, Vikings, and Rams and then more competition comes from KC and Seattle at 1-3. Realistically the Rams would not go Luck at 1 with Bradford and the Colts showed some encouraging signs Monday Night that they won’t be beyond awful.

So Dolfans are given the options give it all we got every game or hope to Suck 4 Luck. Andrew Luck is the type of Quarterback that only comes around once every 15 years if that. Some have said Luck is the best QB prospect to come out of college since Peyton Manning.

Look at the Colts, with Peyton a potential Super Bowl contender, we can only hope Luck would do the same for us.

So do you hope for the best and a competitive Dolphins team with a 6-10 record and a middle of the road pick or the number 1 or 2 pick and potentially a Quarterback that can potentially save the franchise?

And btw, If your wondering, is Luck really that good ?? The answers yes ! Luck threw for 3338 yards last year with 32 TD's and only 8 INTS. This year he has already thrown for over 1000 yards 11 TD's and just 1 INT. Not to mention he team is a perfect 4-0 !

Seems like a no brainer to me! Oh and hey, if we mess up, it's not like Landry Jones is so bad either !

This Given Sunday take on Tony Sparano !

Written by Daniel Eliesen on .

The buzz is going around the NFL that its only a matter of time until Tony Sparano will be fired. Many Dolphins thought that Sparano being let go would happen immediately after the Dolphins loss to the Chargers but that would require Steve Ross and the Dolphins organization to work logically and we all know that’s not happening.

According to a wide variety of sources including ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7053553/tony-sparano-miami-dolphins-reportedly-safe-bye), Tony Sparano will survive another week and will NOT be fired during the Dolphins bye week.

Since winning the division Tony’s record is a lacklustre 14-22 and has failed to get the Dolphins a winning record.

If you have had the bad omen of being forced to watch a Dolphins game, you’ll realize that no team in the NFL is more boring to watch then Sparano’s Dolphins. Although Sparano seems to be a motivating characters as most confuse him with mob boss Tony Soprano, yet Tony has failed to get his team prepared to play on a weekly basis.

Being a die hard Dolphins fan myself, it’s obvious to see Tony Sparano’s biggest weakness. Tony would rather get a field goal and 3 points then roll the dice and go for 7.

In the modern day NFL you simply don’t win games by getting 3 instead of 7.

The Dolphins moved Sparano’s press conference for the day until tomorrow but I wouldn’t read to much into that. Steven Ross is trying to create the best NFL fan experience and create a buzz in Miami and he is going to run out of patience with Sparano.

For Dolphins fans that want consoling, every game Sparano coaches is a game closer to Andrew Luck, so don’t sweat it!

The Day After: Dolphins Sink to 0-3

Written by Daniel Eliesen on .

The Miami Dolphins organization woke up with a huge hangover this morning. Maybe not all of us drank off our sorrows of a 0-3 start but there has to be many head aches inside the confines of the Miami Dolphins headquarters in Davie.

Good news from week 3: Dolphins didn’t get blown out and most likely will have a high draft pick next year.

Bad News: The Dolphins have not been very good this year and
are 0-3.

Even Worse News: There is no reason to think the Dolphins
are going to get any better, any time soon.

Fans have been left pretty much speechless as the Dolphins once again came out flat losing to the Cleveland Browns falling to 0-3. Not only did the Phins fail to get their first win against the Browns, they failed to take advantage of the fact that the Browns were without their best player.

I could go into depth on how the Dolphins lost this game but I am sure not many Dolphins fans want to be reminded.

The image of Sean Smith (who was supposed to be part of the best secondary in the league with Vontae…take time to pause and laugh) watching Joshua Cribbs jump over him and catch a touchdown I’m sure is still in many fans mind.

ss

Many of the trends that have plagued the Dolphins continued
this week:

Defensively

Dolphins linebackers couldn’t cover an 85 year old grandmother as yet again another TE took advantage of this Dolphins defence.

The Dolphins D could not get off the field on 3rd down.

Offensively

The O-Line once again did not give Chad Henne much time to work with

Chad Henne was given the ball in the 4rth quarter and good field position all set up to get the W instead he made a bad decision and threw and interception.

Reggie Bush has been used as an inside runner and fumbled instead of more appropriately being used as a WR or scat back.

Red zone = A disaster

Special Teams

Dan Carpenter once a reliable kicker has now either lost his confidence or just plain old lost it.

As you can see there are many issues that still plague this 0-3 Dolphins team.

The only thing to think about now is where do we go from here…start talking draft or new coaching options perhaps or is it too early?

Stay Classy! Phins Up!
